The development of strategies to solve geometric puzzles, coupled with the development of sequential processes to test those strategies. These activities were traditionally known as ‘Match Stick Puzzles, but are now referred to as ‘Stick Tricks’ and are connected to fire safety messages.
Recording outcome to ensure that processes can be successfully repeated. Robert Palmer first collected and developed ‘Stick Tricks’ so they could be regularly included in ‘The Australasian Post’ weekly magazine over a period of five years.
